Handmade Envelope
Our Valentine’s Day this year was definitely a sweet one. Our biggest leisurely activity is dining out, so it was nice to eat in on this busy holiday of restaurant reservations and fancy dates. I made savory lemon chicken with grilled asparagus and rice pilaf. And for dessert, dark chocolate eclairs with caramel ice cream. My Valentine’s Day card came out great, and I especially liked the heart pop-out. The people around you should be loved all the time, no matter what the occasion, and with or without a holiday to represent it.

The more you loose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have.

Spent some time to organize the kitchen today and add some new tableware to the collection. All food art needs to start on a simple canvas!
This reminds me of back in elementary when we had spelling homework where we had to spell out all the words using magazine cutouts. Accent with an envelope by Anthropologie! We threw a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend - we’ve been best friends since elementary school so it was only appropriate to have a little fun with font cutouts.
